Hand-woven using 100% eco-friendly, French merino wool, we trace the wool’s production process from farm to yarn, securing a top-quality raw material that, with just the right amount of washing, offers maximum warmth and naturally dirt repellent.
Soft and light, the look and texture of these throws improve over time. Although designed for autumn / spring temperatures, they're also warm and cosy in winter. Moreover, they feature two special finishes: a fringed finish and one with intertwined threads.
Quaternio throws are derived from Zuzunaga basics; the square and colour, as well as from an attempt to understand the unique process of weaving by hand.

These throws are an evolution of Squares and Dark Squares throws; the design simplifies from 42 squares to just four, zooming inward in a deliberate effort to reduce the pattern to four colour combinations. In doing so, they play with scale to centre and refocus the viewer’s gaze.
Inspired by Jungian psychology, each Quaternio throw represents one of the four main psychological functions within us: feeling (Quaternio Red), thinking (Quaternio Blue), intuition (Quaternio Green) and sensation (Quaternio Yellow).
