A picture taken from Mount Tibidabo, one of the highest and most emblematic spots in Barcelona, was the starting point for these two blankets. This original pattern is based on the basic points of colour, or pixels, that one observes when zooming in on this image. The choice of the dominant colour in the two blankets is based on key characteristics of the city. Whereas red, evocative of Catalan passion, or rauxa, dominates in Barcelona red, the key colour in Barcelona Green is green, representative of Mount Tibidabo, one of the lungs of the city.
